I think of ‘The Way We Are Together’ as a celebration of intimate relationships: the love and tenderness; the ambivalence, the tiffs, the sulks; the major rows - and the reconciliations; the potential for destructiveness, and the power to heal; the private jokes, the fantasies, the times of pure delight; the building of a shared world...It is in these relationships that we live and develop and find the opportunity for the regeneration and transformation of the self.
