These images and the video chart the beginning of a collaborative project with the performance artist, Andrew Dawson and the artist/filmmaker Roman Sheppard Dawson.

Andrew specialises in movement and narrative composed from human hands to articulate thoughts and emotions to an audience.

Through this project Andrew & Celia explore the dynamics of spontaneous gesture generated by music, sometimes shared, at others heard only by Andrew though headphones. Roman documents the dialogue creating a series of images that seek to bind the relationship between our hands, each other and the mark making notation made on scrolls.
